Elena Thompson is a freelance Makup Artist and Hairstylist based in Brighton, but able to travel nationally and internationally. She specialises in makeup and hairstyling for bridal, events, vintage, fashion, beauty & editorial. Elena studied at Greasepaint School of Makeup, and has been trained in all aspects of makeup application and hair styling.

She has built up her makeup and hair portfolio experience in the West End, working on 'A Round Heeled Woman' and the British Youth Operas 2011 Summer Season. She has also been involved in the areas of film and fashon, assisting on the Top Model UK 2011 live finals, designing hair and makeup for the short film 'His Uterus, Her Lover'. Elena also constantly works on building her photographic portfolio.

As well as working in the bridal and beauty industry, Elena is co-founder of Muse Images with Michael Gayton. Muse Images is a photography and styling business based in Brighton, specialising in, but not exclusive to, actor headshots, vintage styling, beauty and transformation imagery, advertising campaigns, portraiture and commercial photography.

"I thoroughly enjoy the versatility that makeup has to offer, anything from creating that slight 'glow' to a complete physical transformation; the look can be as drastic or as simple as desired. I take as much enjoyment in creating the look as I do from seeing the finished style. Every face is so diverse, and I love that every day my work challenges me in new ways and allows me to meet such a wide variety of people. I cannot think of anything else I'd rather do."
